Continuing Professional Development (CPD) new online!

Auxiliary magazine and Oral-B are pleased to offer an online facility of accredited continuing professional development for all  dental professionals.

"We feel strongly that the quality of the education modules and their accompanying multiple-choice assessments will give you an extraordinary opportunity to enhance your understanding of current oral and systemic health research, materials and perspectives," said Simon Antoniou, Oral-B ANZ Professional Relations Manager.

"Oral-B is dedicated to educating the public on good oral and systemic health and we devote a significant portion of our promotions  to focus on the competence and proficiency of the dental profession. This education initiative reflects that dedication."

This newly developed online facility introduces a more streamlined style of CPD to help dental professionals upgrade their knowledge and skills  without impeding their busy schedules.

The online CPD offers you:

  1. A fully automated self-study with immediate response marking and a Certificate of Completion*^ you can download to save and/or print for your CPD log book.
    • Current information on clinical issues, systemic health and oral health promotion.
    • 20 multiple choice questions designed to help you achieve a thorough understanding of the module.
  2. Access 24 hours a day from your home or office.
  3. Accredited Scientific CPD from the Dental Practice Board of Victoria and the New Zealand Dental Association.
*An 80% or higher pass mark is required to attain the Certificate of Completion.
^The Certificate is valid only if your online registration name is the same as your Dental Board Registration.

NB: Dental team members (hygienists, therapists, assistants, practice managers, front office coordinators, hygiene coordinators) wanting to participate in the annual Oral-B education competition must complete the traditional full assessments. Click here for further information.
