Oral-B Auxiliary
Education Programme

Auxiliary magazine education competition

The Oral-B Auxiliary Education Programme, published in the centre section of the bimonthly Auxiliary magazine (5 modules per year), began in 2003 and continues in 2007 with modules 21 to 25.

"The education competition was initiated through Oral-B's insight to offer an avenue for dental team members to help them gain and utilise current research and information in their patient care. The programme is a self-study continuing professional development (CPD) that offers a cash prize of $1500 to the participant attaining the highest competency in the annual five module series." said Terri Slough, writer and co-ordinator of the education programme.

"The winner of each five module series is determined by their comprehension of the module topic based on their competency of an assessment that challenges their understanding through the use of a variety of test questions and assignments. The assessment is designed to engage the participants in sourcing additional information in order to complete them. This broadens their scope of knowledge and their application of this knowledge toward the delivery of patient care in their respective roles."

You can view the positive expressions from the winners of the annual education competition on their participation and the practical applications of completing the modules. Register now and you could be the next winner we highlight.
